Rick and Christina, our anniversary June 2017

Richard V. Lee:  Rick is originally from So. California.  After high school, he spend 10 1/2 years in the Unites States Air Force.  His tour of duty in the military took him from California to England, and then to Oklahoma.  After he left the Air Force he completed college and law school.  He graduated from the U of Oklahoma with a Doctorate of Law in 1988 and immediately set up a private practice.  He relocated his private practice from Oklahoma to Florida in 1995.  He has been practicing law for 35 years.

He has maintained a general law practice and is well versed in all the areas of practice listed on the Home page over his career.  He has been married to his Wife, Christina, for over 50 years.

His community involvement includes:  An active member, a Deacon, and an Advisory Director to the Board  at The Family Church at Christian Retreat, and playing guitar on the Worship Team there for 23 years.  Other community involvement includes a Director on the Boards of Brocks Upper Room, Inc., Heart of Mercy Ministries, Inc., Love-Link Ministries, Inc., Elisha Company of Prophets, Inc., Gospel Crusade International, Inc.  Previously held Director’s positions include Dietz Ministries, Inc., and Manatee County Cultural Alliance, Inc., Secretary of Ruach Ministries, Inc., and of Ruach Ministerial Fellowship, Inc.

In his spare time Rick tinkers in his wood shop designing and building guitars mostly for himself, he is an avid gardener and an herbalist, loves raising super hot peppers and making his own extremely hot, hot sauce from his peppers.

Christina (Tina) M. Lee:  Christina is also originally from So. California.   She met Rick in December 1971 at a Youth Choir Snow Camp Retreat.  They were married in June 1972.  Christina is the law office administrator, Rick’s Legal Assistant, the bankruptcy legal specialist, and the 501(c)(3) Application for Exempt Organization Status specialist.   She has worked in the law practice with Rick since 1989, and works closely with the clients.

Christina graduated from Western Oklahoma State College with a degree in Jewelry Design in 1986.  She was a stay at home mom while their children were young.  Christina has been involved in the local arts community in Bradenton for many years, a member former member of Art Center Manatee, Inc. and the Crochet Guild of America, Inc., The Glass Dragons, Inc. (a group of glass artists).  She owned and operated her own art gallery, Lee Shore Gallery, in the Village of the Arts, in Bradenton from March 2007 – December 2010.

Her community involvement includes:  Current Board of Directors positions on Brocks Upper Room, Inc., Heart of Mercy Ministries, Inc., and pHealth, Inc.  Previously was an Advisory Director on the Board of Manatee County Cultural Alliance, Inc., and held both Director and Treasurer’s positions on the Board of the Artist Guild of Manatee, Inc., Treasurer of The Glass Dragons, Inc., and the President of Lee Creations, Inc.  Over her 28 years in Bradenton, she has ran the sound for the television cameras, sung on the Worship Team, and has been the overhead projection computer technician at The Family Church at Christian Retreat.  Christina also teaches art classes out of her home art studio, Lee Shore Studio, and designs and sells her one-of-a-kind original Jewelry designs in fused glass and handmade glass (lampwork) beads, her original design hand painted silks, weavings and other fiber arts locally and on the web, http://www.christinamleedesigns.com

Rick and Christina have 2 wonderful children, 2 very special children-in-law, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grand children.  They feel very blessed indeed.  Christina loves teaching art to their children, grandchildren and great grand children.  Rick and Christina love spending time with their family and spoiling their grandchildren.  They love kayaking the many beautiful Florida waterways with their best friends, their children and grandchildren, and they love the Florida beaches.  Here are a couple of pics for your enjoyment of a recent kayaking adventure on the Braden River, from Linger Lodge to Jiggs Landing:
